The embattled Gambian President Yahya Jammeh yesterday got his tenure extended by three months by the Gambian National Assembly through a resolution that was passed by the Parliament.
This is coming after Jammeh declared a State of Emergency two days before his tenure ends, citing “extraordinary” foreign interference in the country’s post-electoral crisis.
