Operation ' Python dance': IPOB accuses FG of plans to wipe out Biafran agitators

www.odogwublog.com reports that the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra ( IPOB) has accused the Federal Government of plans to totally " wipe out all Biafran agitators" in the South East following the " Operation Python Dance" announced Monday by the Army.

IPOB in a statement issued today by its Media and Publicity Officer, Emma Powerful,  said the operation was targeted at crushing Biafran agitators, calling on the international community to hold the Nigeria authorities responsible for any genocide against the unarmed agitators.

The pro- Biafran group also said South East governors should be held responsible for their docility over the proposed operation, contending that the Army  cannot deploy its troops in the region without their knowledge.

IPOB wondered why the operation would be launched in the zone which has largely remained peaceful, arguing that it is a ploy to decimate unarmed freedom  fighters.

IPOB also knocked Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu for his recent media comment where he allegedly said Ndigbo need the Presidency not Biafra.

The comment according to IPOB was self- serving and never reflected the wish of the people.

IPOB further said Iwuanyanwu was only seeking cheap popularity by such comment, and urged members of the public to ignore him.

"Again, we are not for Igbo president according to Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu.  The statement credited to him was a clear indication that some of them are no more relevant, that is why any body who wants the government to notice him or her will say something against the Biafra restoration, Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB.

" After  saying that such a  person will go back to Abuja and sign their MOU for their contracts. Now  they have seen that the government promised to reconstruct some dilapidated roads around south east and south south they will be talking with both ends of their mouths. We pity them."
