NBA vows to weed out bad eggs

The Nigerian Bar Association[NBA] the umbrella body of lawyers in the country, has stated that it was doing everything possible to get rid of all the bad eggs in the legal profession and the judicial system.

The NBA President Mr. Abubakar Balarabe Mahmud disclosed this much to newsmen after the meeting of the National Executive Council meeting of the Association in Minna the Niger state capital. He said, "the allegation of corruptions against the bar and the bench should not undermine the significant contributions of the judiciary and the legal profession to the nations building."

"Few bad eggs in the profession should not be enough to lead to a total condemnation of the institution ,' he added that the NBA will always cooperate with the FG to fish out the bad eggs, but this should be done in accordance with due process and the rule of law.
