Kaduna state govt offers second chance to teachers that failed the Primary 4 competency test, asks them to reapply

Governor of Kaduna state  Nasir El-Rufai released a statement in his Facebook page this morning saying that the  21, 000 teachers that couldn't pass the primary 4 competency test held last month, are allow to reapply if they think they are competent enough to teach in the state schools. The  chairman of the Kaduna state Universal Basic Education Board SUBEB, Nasiru Umar, who signed the statement said the government is in the process of recruiting 25, 000 teachers. Recruitment of 25,000 competent teachers is still ongoing. Those that did not pass the primary 4 test should please know that they are free to reapply if they  know that they are qualified to teach.
Submission of applications is scheduled to end  on or before the 19th of November, 2017.
Completed applications would be screened and name of candidates will be shortlisted and invited for a written test on the 26th of November, 2017.
 Results of the written test will be submitted on the 27th of December, 2017.
Selection of successful candidates to hold on the 2nd of January, 2018.  Successful candidate will be Interviewed on 8th of January, 2018.
While the result of the interview and selection of successful applicants will be submitted on the 23rd of January, 2018. The Issuance of temporary appointment letters will commence on the 25th of January, 2018.
