Christian Rowland writing for ODOGWU MEDIA…Christian Rowland who is public and business analyst popularly known as best analyst in Anambra state, has yet again thrown some light in analyzing some critical issue between the Fulani's and colonial leadership in Nigeria this both think they're very smart. But i have got some news for them, which is,100 years of colonial experiment has now been destroyed.

This is because they control political leadership and structure in Nigeria, so, they don't recognize societal peculiarities. Societal core values rarely change. During colonial era, igbo's were notoriously impossible to govern as they had no kings, but a cosmological order, built on sustained community accomplishments. 

Achebe's things fall apart used Okonkwo to depict this well. From being the son of a riffraff, he, in his youth, joined the community leadership structure by defeating amalinze the cat in a wrestling match that brought dignity to his community. This Something impossible in other societies, you must be a royal blood. 

To be a member of the community leadership structure then, you must do only one thing; serve your community and put your life on the line for them. That's sounds like what nnamdi is replicating, and the entire igbo society follows him like a pied piper. So, the colonialists had to design the ill fated warrant chief structure, to foist their own exploitation leadership on the communities. 

These warrant chiefs wielded colonial delegated powers, but were highly unpopular and sneered. The warrant chiefs are the governors of the eastern Nigeria today. So, the Fulani's, with their so much belief in hierarchy, which igbo's don't subscribe to, are banking their hopes of recapturing Igboland via the warrant chief governors. They'll be in for a shock.

Nnamdi has re-enkindled the spirit of old eastern societal followership of a man who dedicates himself to the cause of the people. The mission of the Fulani's, which is, upon chasing nnamdi away, to hand the societies back to the Governors will fail woefully. 

Soon, you'll start seeing marches by rented crowds in support of one Nigeria in every igbo state, but those don't wash. The only acceptable tested, tasted and trusted standard of leadership, is that of nnamdi, which stands up boldly against injustices in high places. 

A leadership in which people can go to bed, assured that there's no sell out chance by night. It's back good ole times and it's cool. The igbo politicians must now have to understand that the people have been awoken by Nnamdi's style. They must know that they'll stand aloof and be Abuja boys, or dig in, listen to their people, and re-present what they desire. Thank you nnamdi for re- enkindling the spirit of re-representative govt in Igboland and taking the bar higher.
