EMINENT QUALIFIED PDP FAITHFULS APPOINTS OBAZE'S DEPUTY.

  The people's Democratic party (PDP)   appoints  former V-President daughter  Barri.Chidi Alexandra Onyemelukwe(Nnee Ekwueme) as the running mate to his excellency Mr Oseloka Obaze in the forth-coming November 18th 2017 Ananmbra Gubernatorial election. According to the state secretary of the party Mrs Iyom Josephine Anini She said that the decision of the party to bring out Mr Oseloka Obaze was a collective one.She task all the PDP members who moved to APGA to come back now and build PDP.She Claimed that all APGA members are PDPs,that it time for all hands to be on deck.She stressed that PDP election is a test on NIgerians and to assure the Anambrarians that PDP is back.His excellency Mr Oseloka Obaze introduced his deputy as his family childhood relation.Obaze said that the Special Adviser to the former president of the federal republic of Nigeria on a small and medium  scale Enterprise (SMES) is the daughter of former Vice-President of  federal republic of Nigeria,Dr Alex Ifeanyichukwu Ekwueme.While speaking to the press Obaze disclosed that lady Chidi is a graduate of law from the university  of Wales in the United kingdom and was called to Nigerian Bar in 1990.she also has a master degree in international law and diplomacy and masters of business administration from the University of lagos and Duqusene University,Pittsburg in United states respectively.He assured the Anambrarians that he has no doubt in the competence of his deputy.The PDP governorship candidate said that he has confidence in the requisite administrative experience of his deputy ,together they will drive the broad vision of our dear state to the very zenith where it deserved to be The new deputy Governor ,Barri.Chidi Alexandra Onyemelukwe expressed her gratitude, saying that Anambra has capable hands that  will develop the state economy scattered all over the world ,when ask to come home and better Anambra they will tell you that the land is not conducive."We need to come out from our  comfort zone because we have a huge human resources to manage."said she.In her statement she warned that, it is time for selfless service and sacrifice to build Anambra for our children,children to live and thrive. According to the governor elect he said that lady chidi will be his patner in turning Anambra state around and returning her to the trajectory,where the state is not just working, but will be an example that other state must seek to emulate ."Her selection is a public pronouncement of my commitment to gender mainstreaming, women empowerment and a 60-40 targeted ratio in political appointment " He stressed.
