Ozubulu kiling: Chief Aloysius Ikegwuonwu a.k.a Bishop petitions gods in Anambra through traditional rulers

www.odogwublog.com reports that Chief Aloysius Ikegwuonwu also known as Bishop of Umuofufe Ozubulu in Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State has urged traditional rulers in the state to invoke the gods of the land to reveal the perpetrators of St Philip's Catholic Church, Amakwa, Ozubulu as he regrets negative comments against him after the dastardly act.

Chief Ikegwuonwu who spoke at the palace of His Royal Highness, Igwe Nnamdi Oruche the traditional ruler of Ozubulu today when Anambra State Council of Traditional Rulers paid a condolence visit to the Ozubulu monarch said since the traditional rulers were custodians of tradition in their various communities in the State, they would pray that gods of the land would reveal the killers of the church worshipers and bring them to justice.

He said he was surprised that people started making negative comments against him in the media when the incident occurred instead of helping to provide useful information on how to arrest the killers.

"Has anybody previously brought any complaint against me for any reason. Anybody I offended should come out publicly and say it as I say it now publicly that I have not offended anybody," he said.

Chief Ikegwuonwu said his Ozubulu people knew that he never made trouble with anybody and has been able to empower many youths and other folks in Ozubulu through the blessings of God. He said that God has blessed him to help others and that people should not be envious of that. He warned those who make negative statements against him to desist from that forthwith.

He thanked the traditional rulers for their visit and show of concern and the fatherly role they have played since the attack of the worshipers. He thanked the Igwe and members of his community.

The delegation of the traditional rulers who were said to be led by His Royal Highness, Igwe E. C. Nnabuife, Ikenga of Iseke commiserated with Igwe Oruche and the entire Ozubulu people over the incident.

Others at the meeting were Mr Hygenus Ikegwuonu and Mr Ezeilenna who commended the visiting traditional rulers for their concern.
