Why I was released from detention, by MASSOB leader

www.odogwublog.com reports that a top member of the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) Mazi Chukwudi Nwankwo, has been released.
However, Nwankwo alleged that his release was to lure another leader of the group who escaped from the security clutch back.
Nwankwo, who narrated his ordeal in the hands of the security operatives who detained him for participating in the March 30, 2016, pro-Biafra protest at the Bridgehead, Onitsha, Anambra State, described it as traumatic.
He said: “I was among the MASSOB and other pro-Biafra agitators that converged for the protest on March 30, 2016.
“When the security operatives stormed our Onitsha Bridgehead location, I was among those arrested and detained. Thereafter, I was released on the condition of being a tool in the security agents’ hands. My unit leader, Nwadike John Nnaemeka, escaped before the plan matured. I was then held incommunicado and only released last week on the condition that I lure Nwadike back to them. I’ve taken the search for him to his Orlu country home, Imo State without success.”
Asked how he could possibly lure his companion out for re-arrest, Nwankwo looking frail and haggard, said: “I’ll never betray my leader and friend in the Biafra struggle. No! Never! I’m out of their (security) grip now. Let my insider that arranged my release bear with me and bear the brunt. Nwadike and I will do our best to stay out of their reach until Biafra becomes a reality. Fighting for self-determination without violence is not a crime,” he said.
