SURPRISE SURPRISE!!! DIEGO COSTA WILL BE MISSING ON CHELSEA MONDAY PRE-SEASON TRAINING....

Chelsea have granted Diego Costa permission to miss the start of pre-season training, as he will spend this week trying to secure his return to Atletico Madrid.

According to the UK Telegraph, Costa’s representatives agreed that he would be given extra time to stay away.

Chelsea’s players returned to work today.
Manager Antonio Conte told Costa by text message, that he was not part of his plans for the 2017/2018 season and the Spain striker looks to be on his way out of Stamford Bridge.

It is not cetain when Costa will return, but the 28-year-old has been given extra time off. Atletico have already seen an offer around £26million for Costa rejected. But negotiations will continue this week.
