Anambra 2017 Governorship election: Ezeemo secures PPA guber form, as daughter Kelechi mobilizes for father

www.odogwublog.com reports that Godwin Chukwunaenye Ezeemo,  an Anambra based industrialist was today issued with expression of interest and nomination forms to run for the upcoming gubernatorial primaries under Progressive People's Alliance, PPA at the party's National Secretariat, Abuja.

Speaking during the handing over of the forms,  the national chairman of the party, Chief Peter Ameh, said that Ezeemo has been faithful and loyal to the party since joining the party and has been found worthy to bear the flag of the party in the upcoming Anambra State gubernatorial election if he emerges after the party's primary come July 22,2017.

Chief Ameh appreciated Ezeemo for his support in developing the party both at the state and National level and declared him the best person to represent the interest of the party in Anambra State.

Responding to the press, Ameh announced that the nomination form is N5 million while the expression of interest form is N2 million but reiterated that any other person who will indicate interest to run for position will be judged based on his participation in and loyalty to the party. He added that PPA has been actively mobilizing for members at the grassroots level and that it will continue in the process as it is determined to win Anambra State gubernatorial election.

"Anambra State will be a pilot scheme for PPA. We have won elections in several other parties and remain the only party that has no dispute and will be the first to conduct primary elections. We have won elections in several other parties and we are therefore confident that we will win Anambra elections," he said.

Mr Ezeemo, appreciating the party,  said that though the race will not be easy, he is confident that he will win both the primaries and the gubernatorial election.

He said that his team will do everything within the ambit of the law to see that he wins election.

"It will not be business as usual anymore," he said.
The daughter , Kelechi Ezeemo is excited that her father has done so well and assured to mobilize the young people for her father’s victory come November this year.
