Anambra 2017: Senator Andy Uba fights Okey Odunze over Obiano

www.odogwublog.com reports that Senator representing Anambra South senatorial zone , Dr Andy Uba is not happy with former Governorship hopeful in Anambra state , Chief Okey Odunze over statements credited to him concerning upcoming 2017 Governorship election in the state.

Therefore, the Andy Uba Media Support Group has described statements credited to the Okey Odunze  on the aspiration of Senator Andy Uba as unfortunate and unbecoming of an elder.

The group stated this in its press release where it challenged Odunze to tell the world why he is busy traversing the state with funds meant for the development of the state under the pretext of purchasing endorsements from phony stakeholders.

"We recently were notified of how Dr. Okey Odunze in the pretext of wanting to justify his new status as the noise maker of the Obiano administration, an administration that has so failed the people of Anambra State attempted to besmirch the good name of Senator Andy Uba, by making spurious allegations borne with malice and pecuniary motives. 

Naturally,  we ought not to give any fuss over such dubious transactions but for the fact that we may be doing ourselves some damage by not responding to some of his ridiculous claims.

Okey Odunze we know and respect but when an elder toys with such respect then it is required that people ought to correct them.

We again state that anybody who doubts the academic records and achievements of Senator Uba should kindly write to the doubted academic institutions to confirm whether Uba attended these institutions.

If Uba had not attended these institutions would he have been an SSA to former President Olusegun Obasanjo? Would he have run for Governor of Anambra State as well as serve as Senator?"

The group also stated that the present administration was jittery of Uba's growing chances and was doing everything to stop him.

"We are aware that the state government has earmarked monies running into millions of Naira meant to demarket Senator Uba, we are however happy that such a move only confirms to us that the fear of Andy Uba is real and that his chances of beating Obiano is as constant as the Northern Star.
