Ezeemo set to build ranches for Herdsmen in Anambra

www.odogwublog.com reports that Leader of Progressive People’s Alliance (PPA) in Anambra State, Mr Godwin Chukwunaenye Ezeemo, has announced his plans to build a ranch for herdsmen in the state if he becomes the Governor of the state after 2017 November elections.

He said that building a ranch for the herdsmen would bring to a stop conflicts between farmers and the herdsmen.

Ezeemo spoke at Mmiata Anam, in Anambra West Local Government Area during an interactive session with some indigenous ministers from the community who came to complain to him on the unbecoming activities of herdsmen in that locality.


Ezeemo decried the environmental and economic problems these herdsmen activities pose on people and assured that he will insist on building a ranch for herdsmen which is a socially acceptable means of transporting  cattle into a state.

He said that these ranches must be regulated and taxes would be paid for every cattle.  He added that the herdsmen will have proper living quarters built for them and that he would insist on hygienic living for them.

Ezeemo further said that he would not be party to whitewashing the issue but would insist on policies that would make the environment more hygienic no matter whose ox is gored and ensuring that every person is equal under the law of the land.

He said that he was driven by passion to develop his state having lived abroad for a while and learnt the working of the developed world ,knowing that such principles of development practicable there could be translated in Anambra for a healthy state.

Ezeemo also said that he had decide to live his comfort zone to come home to fix the broken walls of governance in Anambra for posterity sake.

Ezeemo, an Industrialist, a Farmer, and a seasoned politician seeks to mend the broken walls of governance in Anambra under the platform of PPA.
