South-East compromised monarchs descend on Ilomuanya……kick against gracing land

www.odogwublog.com reports that the deposed monarch of Obinugwu autonomous community in Orlu Local Government Area of Imo state, Cletus Ilomuanya got fresh Stern warning from the compromised South East Council of Traditional Rulers to stop parading himself as monarch and chairman of the council.
The Stern warning was issued after a brainstorming meeting by members of the council at the secretariat of the council chairman of the traditional rulers in Imo, Eze Samuel Ohiri.
Addressing a joint press conference after the meeting, the South East council of the traditional rulers, Eze Ebere Jidik and his Imo State counterpart ,Ohiri noted that Ilomuanya has continued to embarrass and disgrace the traditional institution in Igbo land by parading himself as a monarch when he is not.
They also urged him to stop deceivng people and face the reality. According to the monarchs,"Ilomuanya should produce the supreme court verdict that reinstated him.
"He claim that the attorney General of the federation  has written to Governor Okorocha to reinstate him,its a big lie" Ohiri said.
Ohiri further claimed that Ilomuanya's too much involvement in politics dealt a blow to Chief Ikedi Ohakim's second term bis in 2010 following his alleged order to dethrone any monarch in the state then who refuse to support his political party of interest.
Ohiri who resented Ilomuanya still addressed as a royal father warned journalists that he would not hesitate to punish erring journalists who insist to recognise him as one.
Ohiri said " their is a state law which says it shall be unlawful of if any body who is not a traditional ruler is to refer to himself  as his royal highness ,anybody that contravenes this will pay a fine of N200 000 "
Meanwhile,the monarchs after their deliberations has also kicked against the proposed gracing land opting instead for private ranch ownership by any cattle rearer .
Jidik said " the idea of gracing land for cattle in the South East or anywhere is strongly rejected,we agree to any Igbo son  buying a land anywhere as a ranch for his cattle "
