Nnamdi Kanu emerges 'Eastern Consultative Assembly[ECA] New Leader as IPOB thanks ECA for electing him

www.odogwublog.com reports that Members of  the pro Biafra activists,' The Indigenous People of Biafra [IPOB] has expressed gratitude to an Igbo socio political group, 'Eastern Consultative Assembly[ECA] for selecting the IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Nkanu as the organization's leader equally.

In a press statement issued yesterday by IPOB publicity secretary, Comrade Emma Powerful, made available to Odogwublog.com , IPOB described the development as a mark of appreciation of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's struggle for the emancipation of Ndigbo.

Odogwublog.com  recalls that Eastern Consultative Assembly,ECA, took the decision of announcing Mazi Nnamdi Kanu,the detained IPOB leader/Radio Biafra Director,as it's new leader even in absentia at it's meeting held in Enugu on Tuesday,April 18.

Part of the Press statement reads,' The election, even in absentia of our leader as the new leader of ECA, is a great testament to the appreciation by our people, of the sacrifice our leader is making for the liberation of our people and our progeny'.

'We assure the ECA, that our leader will not sell us out neither will he disappoint in any way. We thank you all for the great confidence reposed in our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu'.

Comrade Emma Powerful stressed that  the world  have always noted  the leadership of ECA to comprise of men and women of proven integrity.

'We know that the well known integrity of the ECA will remain the beacon of light it has always been. A bright light shinning truth into a firmament of pitch darkness which Nigeria regrettably represents'.

According to him,  the ECA came to the rescue of IPOB when a  campaign of criminalization was hatched to intimidate members of IPOB in recent past.

.'The consistency of the ECA in defence of truth, while in pursuit of justice and equity is well known to all.We pledge to continue to work with our elders, clergymen and women, students, women, youth and traditional rulers in the ECA'.
