Biafra[IPOB] and Radio Biafra Director,Mazi Nnamdi Kanu yesterday by an

generate reactions especially from prominent Igbo leaders,East of the
Niger.
Justice
Nyako said she has observed that Nnamdi Kanu had always sat on the dock
whenever he was brought to court, stating it is an indication that he is
suffering from an ailment and therefore granted him bail on health
ground.
Reacting
to the bail,Prophet Nwoko, an Enugu based cleric with great sentiments
and dreams for an independent state of Biafra, said that the release of
Nnamdi Kanu yesterday by an Abuja high court marks the beginning of the
realization of an Independent state of Biafra, as he has already
prophesied.
Prophet
Nwoko who reacted to Kanu's release in a telephone chat with 'The
Authority' stressed he prophesied a few months back that Mazi Nnamdi
Kanu will definitely be released before the middle of this year, stating
that the announcement of his bail by Justice Nyako of Abuja Federal
high court is part of the fulfillment of his prophecy and the beginning
of Biafra freedom.
According
to him, the glory of God that will restored in Igbo land will manifest
with the realization of the Sovereign state of Biafra. He insisted that
Biafra as a sovereign state is already ordained by God and that no
mortal can stop it amidst the delays.
The

also the Bishop of Enugu diocese,Most Rev, Dr Emmanuel O. Chukwuma[OON]
in a telephone chat condemned the bail conditions attached to Nnamdi
Kanu's bail, stating it negates his basic fundamental human rights.
Justice
Nyako in the bail conditions restricted Mazi Nnamdi Kanu from granting
press interviews and attending public gatherings where there are more
than 10 persons in the
course of the bail. But Archbishop Chukwuma said the bail conditions are
denying him his fundamental human rights on the ground that he is not a
prisoner and a a citizen of Nigeria, he should be granted freedom of
association in as much as the suit is still pending in court.
The
cleric also faulted the bail conditions of sum of N100m with three
sureties placed on Mazi Kanu, stating he has pleaded that the IPOB leader
should be handed over to him and he will engage him in a discuss.

'It is a very good development. We commend the judge for the bold step she took in delivering the
judgement.
An Igbo adage says that truth must definitely prevail. Nigeria cannot
hide the truth forever, the truth is that Biafra has come to stay and
no intimidation, arrest,
harrasement, detention and even killing can stop us from pursuing the independent state of Biafra'.
The
Comrade Uchenna Madu led faction described Mazi Nnamdi Kkanu as a hero
for not compromising his belief in the Biafra struggle amidst the pains
and sufferings he underwent.
'
Massob is also commending Nnamdi Kalu for not compromizing and also
for the pain he went through. Massob want to use this medium to call on
Federal government to also release other pro-Biafra agitators in
various prisons in Nigeria'.
The
faction also commended the South-east governors, Leadership of
Ohanaeze ndigbo, Igbo professionals and everybody who contributed to the
release of Nnamdi Kalu. Massob also commend our leader comrade Uchenna
Madu for the role he
played as well.
.
Chief Chekwas Okorie, the United Progressives Party[UPP] leader in his message to newsmen.
expressed joy that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was granted bail. However Okorie expressed his reservations.
'We
welcome this development although We would have preferred an
unconditional bail, which is what he has always deserved. The courts have
always granted bail to Nnamdi Kanu but the Nigerian government, the
accuser and plaintiff always denied him freedom to the utter
embarrassment of the civilized world'.
''We
urge the Federal government to save Nigerians further anxiety by
releasing him from detention without further delay. We further urge the
government to take steps to drop all charges against Nnamdi Kanu and
other prisoners of conscience'.
Chief
Okorie advised that the above steps when taken will help in curtailing
tension in the polity and Nigeria will be better for it.
