IPOB demands Mr. George Onyeibe's unconditional release from DSS dungeon

www.odogwublog.com reports that the Indigenous People of Biafra(IPOB) has demanded the unconditional and immediate release of its Africa representative, Mr. George Onyeibe, allegedly abducted by the Department of State Services, DSS, in the early hours of Saturday April 22, 2017 from his home near Igweocha in Rivers State.

A statement by Ijaw born IPOB’s National Coordinator, Mr. Tony Tiger Amacheree, a copy of which was made available to Authority said that the Agbor, born Delta State, Mr. Onyeibe "may have been killed after being unlawfully abducted by men of DSS from his residence in Atali Obio Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, beaten to a pulp, and his electronic devices taken away and his whereabouts is yet unknown."

“We doubt if he is still a life, but if he is, we believe he has been taken to one of the unknown dungeon owned by DSS who carried out their Gestapo raid with two tinted glass black Jeep in the early hours of Saturday being the 22nd of April 2017.”

"We view this latest provocation as unlawful and detrimental to the well-being of everyone including DSS. Illegal arrests and detention has been a regular occurrence in the present government in Nigeria and we must say no to it.

IPOB said it is now crystal clear that the present government does not mean well for law abiding citizens but would rather prefer armed conflict as done by the Boko Haram and Fulani herdsmen which the government has allegedly been treating with kid gloves.

“We wonder why the Director General of DSS, Daura Lawal will be allowed to impose the very worst form of totalitarianism on ordinary people without any checks and balances. The Indigenous People of Biafra has not been found as illegal organization and so why the midnight raids and abductions of our members.”

IPOB said it will no more keep mute over the clampdown on Biafrans, adding that “the latest form of high handedness by the present administration will only make us stronger and deepen the unity between South East and Niger Delta which will whose result the quick restoration of Biafra.”

“We are not just issuing this warning to the Nigerian Government, but also letting them know we must implement our decision to mobilize all Niger Delta youths to support the emergence of a new Biafra.

“We will do everything possible to make sure that IPOB under the supreme leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is protected from the murderous security agents Mr. Onyeibe's abduction will prove to the world that a touch against one is a touch against all.”
