War looms in National Youth council Anambra Chapter, as APGA hijacks Anambra Youth Council Election?

Press Statement: National Youth Council of Nigeria, Anambra Chapter

The Anambra State Government through the Ministry of Youth Entrepreneurship and Sports Development is determined to ensure a free, fair and unity congress of Anambra State Chapter of National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN).

The Ministry of Youth Entrepreneurship and Sports Development has noticed with dismay the flagrant abuse of the consensus reached at a joint meeting with the NYCN Stakeholders held in the Ministry on the 8th of February 2017 to make all necessary submissions to form a Unity Congress Planning committee. Instead a group went ahead with the election processes.

The Ministry therefore directs that sale of forms to interested candidates and all other processes regarding the election be discontinued/Stopped for it is minded at giving Anambra Youth the opportunity to choose their leaders through a transparent, United  and peaceful process.
 In accordance with the provisions of the constitution of NYCN, the guidelines with datelines for the next congress shall be made public in no distant time.
 The State, in its effort to assist in building the youth, shall not tolerate any attempt or action that appears to truncate the process or compromise the peaceful atmosphere being enjoyed by Ndi Anambra in Governor Willie Obiano's Administration.
