Truck crush motorcyclist, Okechukwu Egejuru to death in Imo

www.odogwublog.com reports that  Mercedes Benz truck with Imo registration number KBJ522 KGE  laden with sand yesterday crushed a 38 year old man Okechukwu Egejuru from Umuezu ,Ndegwu in Owerri west Local Government Area who was operating his commercial motorcyclist popularly known as Okada at Umuafom,Orogwe along Onitssa/Owerri road,Imo state.

According to a pastor who witnessed the incident and narrowly escaped death by whiskers after alighten from the Okada and boarded another commercial bus as he narrated the incident said that the truck which was on a very high speed was trying to avoid a Dangote cement laden lorry coming out from Orogwe market junction but lost control when the driver noticed the trailer.

The pastor who heads one of the branches of Zion ministries as he narrated said "if i had spent a minute longer i would have died along side Okey,immediately i paid him entered a waiting bus and the next thing i heared was loud noise"

He further narrated that the Okada rider died instantly despite getting rescue from passerby who drew his dessimated corpse out under the truck.

The cleric further disclosed that casualties of the incident would have been more if the owners of the lockup stores the truck rammed into were opened for business.
