Soludo's endorsement of Obiano not political -APGA

www.odogwublog.com reports that the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in Anambra State has said that the choice of the former Central Bank Governor, Prof. Charles Soludo to deliver the 3rd year anniversary lecture of Governor Willie Obiano's administration was not politically motivated.
This clarification is coming against the allegation that the ex-CBN governor, who endorsed the Obiano's second term bid during the lecture was promised to take over from him (Obiano) at the expiration of his eight year tenure.
The secretary of the party, Hon. Tony Ifeanya, in an interview with odogwublog.com, said the ex-apex bank governor was chosen as the guest lecturer purely on his antecedents; adding that he was not biased in his presentation and assessment, but spoke from his heart.
He said Soludo did not market APGA or Obiano but rather marketed himself during the lecture by proving to his audience the stuff he was made of.
“APGA wanted someone who is sound and have the stuff. Soludo’s lecture about the achievements of Obiano clearly shows that this government is unbeatable. He talked from his heart.
“Soludo promoted and marketed himself very well and not even APGA. He proved to Anambrians that he had something upstairs”, he said.
According to Ifeanya, the party could have been suspicious in choosing him to deliver the lecture if it had not delivered creditably on its mandate.
“Anyone who is doing well would not be afraid of criticisms because he knows he has measured above board", he added.
