Police dismisses trigger-happy officer, Sergeant Wilson Ufere for killing 16 year old, shooting 3 others

www.odogwublog.com reports that the trigger-happy Policeman, Sergeant Wilson Ufere has been dismissed from the Police Force for shooting four unarmed youths, and killing a 16 year old boy instantly in Imo State.

Ufere, had last Thursday at about 5:30 pm at Ugwu Omiri Lawyer area, on the busy Anara - Umuahia expressway, while on a road duty with two other colleagues shot at a group of youths on a church procession, he killed 16 year old, Obinna Iwuoha instantly, and left three others gravely wounded.
The Police authorities are set to arraign him for the death of the young lad.
Police Spokesman for Imo State, DSP Andrew Enwerem said Ufere has been dismissed from the force, after he was found guilty during an orderly room trial.
He disclosed that the three Policemen on duty at the scene have been tried in an orderly room trial, while the two others are facing internal Police disciplinary measures.
Enwerem said soon Ufere will be arraigned for the death of Obinna before a competent court in the State.
The three others are: Tochukwu Uzoukwu, 25 years; Chukwuebuka Donatus, 24 years; and Chigozie Iwuala, 28 years have been in coma since Thursday after sustaining different degrees of injuries from gun shots from Ufere. 
Eyewitnesses had told Odogwublog.com that youths, mainly teenagers who were on a rally last Thursday, for their church crusade which was billed to start on March 25 had a flat tyre, at "Ukwu Omiri lawyer", a meter away a Police check point.
Sources said that one of the policemen had insisted that the youths must remove their vehicle from the place, but the youths of  Emmanuel Healing Power ministry incorporated, Uguiri, told the cop that there was no way they could move the vehicle because of the flat tyre.
During the altercation that ensued between one of the police men and the driver, Ufere, who was on the other side of the road, that was not a party to the argument, emerged from nowhere and shot directly at a close range at the youths, which led to the instant death of one, which three others were shattered, resulting in them losing consciousness, one of the eyewitnesses said.
Angered by the incident, irate youths burnt the Isiebu Police Station in the night to register their displeasure.
