www.odogwublog.com reports that the former Gov. of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi has advised the Nigerian Government to pay more attention to the economy. Obi was speaking at the Theology Week of the  Spiritan International School of Theology, Attakwu, Enugu State.

Obi who said that economies of countries were driven by faith, called on Nigerian leaders to act in manners that showed they had faith in the economy and not in a manner that would engender fear among the people.

Arguing that nations are usually led by recession to look inwards and correct macro economic realities that led to it, Obi said that the economic realities of today, most importantly reminded Nigerians as a people to start doing those things that the country avoided that led her to where she is today.

Speaking further, after recalling how he was able to save billions as the Governor, he called on our leaders to start saving now, no matter how small.
