IPOB Leader, Kanu's father HRH Eze Israel Kanu’s life in danger , as he cries out says Uwazuruike behind my son’s ordeal

www.odogwublog.com reports that there is fresh crisis of confidence for the leader of the Biafra Independent Movement ( BIM) , Chief Ralph Uwazurike as the traditional ruler of Afaraukwu  Umuahia autonomous community, and father of the detained leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra ( IPOB) , Nnamdi Kanu, HRM Eze Israel Kanu,  has alleged that Uwazuruike is responsible for his son's ordeals.

The monarch who made the allegation while speaking with newsmen in his palace after the traditional marriage ceremony  of his daughter, said Uwazurike was behind the continued detention of his son in an Abuja prison.

According to him, Uwazurike's grouse with Kanu was because Kanu exposed his ( Uwazurike's) poor handling of funds raised by members of the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra ( MASSOB) when Uwazurike was the leader of MASSOB.
 
He accused Uwazurike of tipping off the security agencies about Kanu's movement before they arrested him in Lagos upon arrival from London in 2015.

The 84- year old monarch expressed shock that Uwazurike would suddenly turn against Kanu who he had formally pursued the Biafran agenda with.

Kanu's father called on Ndigbo to hold both the federal government and Uwazurike responsible should anything untoward happen to him.

The monarch who said his health had continued to deteriorate since after the arrest and continued detention of his son, appealed to the federal government to quickly release his son to prevent his ( father's) early grave.

He insisted that his son committed no crime to warrant his continued detention, saying that people have the right for self determination if they no longer feel comfortable in their present association.
