Confusion in Anambra IPAC, AS 17 Chairmen sack APGA Chairman, others

www.odogwublog.com reports that Chairmen of Seventeen (17) political parties under the Interparty Advisory Council (IPAC), Anambra state, today unanimously resolved to suspend indefinitely Chief Norbert Obi , the Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), as a member of IPAC, Anambra state and barred him from attending, holding or taking  part in all of IPAC activities in Anambra state.
The seventeen Chairmen in a statement endorsed by them after a meeting at Golphins Hotel Awka insisted that Chief Obi should henceforth desist from parading himself as Chairman and or member of IPAC Anambra state or hold any meeting in that capacity or face the consequences.
IPAC also suspended Peter Okala, state chairman of NCP who was IPAC Publicity secretary and Mr Dim Patrick , state Chairman of DPC who was treasurer of IPAC for insubordination and contempt of the directive of national leadership of IPAC and for supporting and taking part in an illegal activities with Norbert Obi.
IPAC warned that any party chairman in Anambra state that takes part in any illegal meeting anywhere in the name of IPAC will be disciplined accordingly.
IPAC in the statement stated further: ‘’ we are asking Anambra state Governor, Chief Willie Obiano to face the task of leadership and benefits of democracy delivery to Ndi Anambra and stop sponsoring Norbert Obi to keep causing trouble in IPAC Anambra state.
‘’That any further provocative action from Norbert Ob and his cohorts will attract our vehement responses, they are all hereby put on notice.
IPAC even asked the police commissioner and DSS Director in the state to take note of the unwelcome activities of Norbert and cohorts as their press statement against legitimate IPAC members is capable of breach of peace especially with Governorship election coming handy.  
IPAC went ahead to inaugurate a 5 man disciplinary committee to look into the issues leading to their suspension. The members are Hon Isaac Onuka P.D.C as chairman, Hon Ikechukwu Nwekwe S.D.P as secretary; Hon Kenneth Okafor P.P.P as member, Comrade Aaron Igweze A.D , member and Hon Paul Asika A.D.C as member.
IPAC appealed to Governor Obiano to give them a date for the conduct of the local government elections as the council areas have remained under decay despite huge federal allocations.
They reminded that IPAC national body at Jos , Plateau state on 7th December 2016 invited Hon Oby Kate Okafor and recognized her as Acting Chairman and scolded Obi for coming for the conference without invitation even asked him out, only for him to be making trouble in IPAC rather than look for amiable resolution of whatever his crimes were that led the national body from not recognizing him
They decried his alleged suspension of the Acting Chairman , Oby Kate Okafor from IPAC and assuming the office of both the chairman and secretary.  

Those who signed the document were Hon Oby Kate Okafor of A.C.D ; Hon Ikechuwku Nwekwe of S.D.P , Hon Okechuwku Okpapa of U.D.P ; Comrade Aaron Igweze of A.D.; Paul Asika of ADC; Chief G.C. Mokwe of NUP ; Innocent Onwubuike of MPPP; Hon Kenneth Okafor of PPP; Hon Prince Isaac Onuka of PDC; Hon Dr Emmanuel Amaaefuna of DPP , Chief Emeka Obiajor of BNPP, and Chief Alex Ayotalumo of PRP.

Others were Hon Ejike Oguebego of PDP , Barr Nelson Uzoegbo of PDM , Kajie Igwah of UPN , Dr Sylvester Igwilo of UPP and Barr Emeka Denison of APC .
Meanwhile, some  members of the IPAC in a statement signed by Sir Norbert Obi of APGA/ IPAC chairman and  Hon Moses Afum as state Assistant Secretary IPAC allegedly suspended Hon Oby Kate Okafor as IPAC Deputy chairman informing her that she would be interviewed within 30 days for a report to be submitted to national body.
They alleged that she was suspended for her offensive publication in the newspaper last December where she called herself Acting Chairman.
www.odogwublog.com would be recalled that Hon Okafor was unanimously made Acting chairman during a meeting duly convened and the document signed by more than 15 parties.
