APGA frowns at Okorocha’s utterances against Obiano-----asks Okorocha to re-unite South-East Governors

www.odogwublog.com reports that leadership of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) this evening frowned at the utterances of the Governor of Imo state, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, insisting that, the vituperation from him against the Governor of Anambra state, Chief Willie Obiano was avoidable and unnecessary.

National Chairman of the Party, Dr Victor Ike Oye made the stand of the party known during a chat with newsmen at his country home Amawbia, Awka South council area, Anambra state.

Oye said the verbal exchange was needless and denounced all that was accredited that Okorocha had said against the Governor of Anambra state, Chief Willie Obiano,’’ we denounce every statement made by Governor Okorocha against the working Governor of Anambra state, Chief Willie Obiano’’.

He said Okorocha’s government could not stand that of Governor Obiano and therefore was incomparable to Obiano’s administration and wondered why the vituperation in the first place.

He said Okorocha does not have the temerity to cast aspersions on Obiano, decrying that Okorocha spoke about Obiano in gutter languages he deployed in his speech and rather appealed to him to sit up and take up his role of re-uniting the South-East Governors to speak with one voice on issues concerning the region.

The National Chairman of APGA, said Okorocha was expected to carry other South-East Governors along as the oldest in the seat for the benefit of the zone with his position rather than create room for infighting among them. He should be concerned with the unity of the South East zone.

He said APC and PDP are not stable in the state but only grandstanding and could be said to be in coma, without capacity to govern and transform Anambra while APGA is in form and capable of continuing its transformation of Anambra state.
He announced that Obiano would commence the inspection and commissioning of N20 Million projects in the 181 communities of the state while even flagging off new projects worth same amount by March after its 3 years in office. He informed that Peter Obi laid the foundation of super structures in the state while Chief Willie Obiano is building the super structures.
He reminded Obiano has done well in security in the state that from December 20th to January 10th with influx of returnees and more than 200,000 vehicles entered the state none got lost and no crime was recorded.
