Breaking: Senate rejects U.S.-based professor, Prof. Akintunde Akinwande’s nomination as Electricity Commission boss

The Senate at its plenary today tuesday has rejected the nomination of Prof. Akintunde Akinwande’s nomination as the National Electricity Regulatory Commission Boss.

Prof. Akintunde is a U.S Based Professor at the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department of Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

He was rejected for his failure to attend confirmation hearing while other's whose name was submitted together with that of Prof. Akintunde Akinwande were cleared by the Senate.
