Manchester United Set to Sign Payet

Manchester United are planning a shock swoop for West ham united play maker Dimitri Payet as Jose Mourinho looks for a wide playmaker in the upcoming transfer window.

The hammers will demand at least 35 million Pounds for the mercurial French man who made his way into the PFA team of the year last season owing to a series of brilliant performances over the course of the campaign.

The mirror reports that the London based club are wary that the mid fielder's performance this season has not been up to mark as he has been swayed by a move to a bigger club, and should United arrive with a massive offer as expected in the summer, he is unlikely to be dissuaded.

Payet has been made the highest paid player at Westham united, but the truth remains that they are no competitions to United's financial strength who can double the midfielder's wages if the need be.

The hammers who are struggling near the relegation zone are unlikely to accept any offers i n January as they will favour such transfer to happen in the summer, as they hope to hold on to him so as to help them stay in the premier league. However, their resolve could count for nothing if the French man decides to move on in January.
